Event mission:
Our mission is to give Rochester Area Youth an opportunity to present their talent in a safe public format and contribute to the quality of this youth event

Event description:
This event will host youth ages preschool through grade 12 for a singing contest.   Anyone who is in preschool thru 12th grade may enter.  Entrance is based on first come first serve basis. There will be four (4) $100 prize winners, one in each of the following categories: preschool - 1st grade, 2nd - 4th grade, 5th - 8th grade and 9th - 12th grades.

Please bring a CD with your music selection to the rehearsal and performance

Contest rules/regulations:

  1. Song time limit: two minutes
  2. Music will be provided
  3. Lyrics will not be profane
  4. Registration fee is $10 which will be made out to the make-a-wish foundation charity and paid at the qualifying round!
  5. Finalists will perform on 9-12-09 from 11:30 – 1:00 pm
  6. Finalists will be critiqued be panel of judges
  7. All finalists will be awarded prizes
  8. Four winners selected as 'best performances' by a guest judge panel will be chosen in each of the above age categories
  9. Family and staff of Kids Day America sponsors may perform but are exempt from any cash prizes.
